The young guy Bin is so friendly, attentive, courteous and served me like a valuable customer. I have come returned here multiple times because of him and because his service is so unique. His co-worker Lin, the tall slim Chinese young man, is also very nice when serving me too. I rarely get this customer service anywhere often especially in a city like New York where people are so problematic.

I love the chicken at 98K. They are soooo crunchy and crispy. The size of the meat are big enough for a good filling. This place is my new addiction spot. Also, because I’m an American island girl I love that drink with the coconut in it. Wait a minute, I forgot to tell you that 98k is very cost efficient.

I love this place and am so glad it’s back. The chicken here is heads and shoulders above the other local joints - well seasoned, crispy, and juicy. Did I mention it’s also really affordable in comparison? I’m sorry but the opps leaving fake reviews here couldn’t be less obvious. How did you order uber eats, wait to get your order taken and identify the guy at the shop? The whole point of uber eats is delivery and order in advance. Anyway, don’t listen to them and come here for their delicious chicken.

Just tried the spicy chicken sandwich and it's really good. One of the cooks told me he worked in a Jamaican restaurant and you can tell cause the chicken is well seasoned and not overpowering, crispy but tender. I will definitely be back. * OK, I've been back 3 days in a row. Their chicken sandwich is made fresh, 2 for $6.89, you can't beat that price. BTW the Honey Garlic sauce, OMG!!! I can drink it with or w/o a straw.

From what I could tell, the shop might be owned or run by Chinese staff, which brings an interesting fusion twist to the halal fried chicken and snacks. The service was quick and friendly, and the food came out hot and ready to go. The packaging is fun and eye-catching too. If you’re around the Church Ave and Nostrand Ave area and craving some quick, affordable fried chicken or sandwiches, 98K is worth checking out. It might not be gourmet, but for a casual bite that’s both budget-friendly and halal, it hits the mark. Just be prepared for a little extra oil—but honestly, that’s kind of expected with good fried chicken!
